Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to PawPass. These Terms of Service (hereinafter "Terms") govern your access to and use of the website pawpass.rs, the PawPass mobile application, and all related services (hereinafter the "Platform"). By using our Platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use our Platform.

2. Description of Services

PawPass is a pet care platform that provides the following services:

• Search and book services – find and book services from partners (veterinarians, grooming salons, dog walkers, pet sitters, and other service providers)
• QR tag/NFC tag – a physical tag with a unique QR code that enables finders of a lost pet to contact the owner
• Subscriptions – Silver and Gold plans with additional benefits such as partner discounts
• Shop – purchase pet products and accessories

3. User Account

To use certain features of the Platform, you must create a user account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. When registering, you agree to provide accurate and complete information. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if we determine that the information provided is inaccurate or incomplete, or if you violate these Terms.

4. Subscriptions and Payment

PawPass offers a free (Freemium) plan as well as paid subscriptions (Silver, Gold). Paid subscriptions are billed monthly through the Stripe platform. Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless canceled before the end of the current period. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. After cancellation, you retain access to benefits until the end of the already paid period. Refunds for partially used billing periods are not available, except as required by law. We reserve the right to modify subscription prices with at least 30 days' prior notice. Continued use of the service after new prices take effect will be considered acceptance of the new terms.

5. QR Tag and Pet Finding

The QR tag/NFC tag is a physical product that attaches to a pet's collar. When a finder scans the QR code, they are shown the owner's contact information and basic pet details. PawPass does not guarantee the finding of a lost pet. The QR tag is an auxiliary tool that increases the chances of finding a pet but is not a substitute for responsible pet care. We are not liable for physical damage to or loss of the tag.

6. Reservations and Partner Services

PawPass enables booking of services from partners – independent service providers. PawPass acts as an intermediary and is not a direct provider of veterinary, grooming, or other services. The partner is responsible for the quality and delivery of the services they provide. PawPass is not liable for damage, injury, or dissatisfaction arising from the use of partner services. We recommend checking the qualifications and reviews of a partner before making a reservation. Cancellation of reservations is governed by each individual partner's cancellation policy, which is visible on the partner's page before confirming a reservation.

7. Prohibited Use

By using the Platform, you agree not to:

• Use the Platform for illegal activities or activities that violate the rights of third parties
• Post false, misleading, or offensive content, including fake reviews
• Attempt unauthorized access to the system, other user accounts, or data
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access or collect data from the Platform without our express permission
• Interfere with or disrupt the operation of the Platform or servers and networks connected to the Platform

8. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, software, and design, is the property of PawPass or our licensors and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our Platform or content without our express written consent.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available", without any warranties, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Platform will operate without interruption, that it will be secure, or that it will be error-free. PawPass does not provide veterinary advice or medical services. Information available on the Platform is for informational purposes only and is not a substitute for professional veterinary advice.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PawPass shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, reputation, or other intangible losses arising from the use of or inability to use the Platform. PawPass's total liability to you for all claims relating to the Platform is limited to the amount you have paid us in the preceding 12 months.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Platform at any time by deleting your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Platform without prior notice if you violate these Terms or if your behavior may cause harm to other users, partners, or PawPass. Upon termination, provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall continue to apply.

12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Serbia. For all disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms, the courts in Belgrade, Republic of Serbia, shall have jurisdiction. Before initiating legal proceedings, the parties shall attempt to resolve the dispute amicably within 30 days of the dispute arising.

13. Changes to Terms and Contact

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or a notice on the Platform at least 30 days in advance. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect will be considered acceptance of the new Terms.
